Good technical knowledge (CAT tools, help and SW formatting & resizing, doc and SW breakdown, file conversion and integration etc) is required.
The successful candidate has min. 2 years experience in the localization industry, the ability to adapt to changing environment, strong skills in MS project and other tools, fluency in English and French.

New on line resource management system
28 juli 2006ANTHEA has just released a new on line portal dedicated to the management of their translators, graphic designers and engineers.
This new extranet system is part of our global management system (ERP) which is currently being developed by our in-house IT staff. Our translators are now able to create and update their profile through a simple internet browser. The system is then used by our project managers to allocate projects to the most appropriate resources. The link to this portal is available in our "Jobs" section.

4 januari 2006ANTHEA Languages keeps moving fast in 2006, with the opening of a new office in Brussels, an extended production platform on the French Riviera, and increased engineering/ testing and project management capacities.
Three localization engineers, four project managers and two language leads have joined our teams in Belgium and France. Our technologies Anthe@TMS and Anthe@Workflow are available or in the last stages of development, and several major contracts are about to be concluded this quarter.

3 januari 2006In order to streamline the process of managing and updating our customers’ multilingual documents, ANTHEA has developed a very powerful web-based translation management system: ANTHE@TMS.
Any authorized user in your company can access our document management platform to view, add and update documents and objects in any language.
Each time a document is added or updated, it is compared against existing older versions. The system detects similar text segments that can be re-used from these text files. Only updated sections of the document will be translated. The system generates an alert to a pre-identified project manager at ANTHEA, with the instruction to translate it into all other languages of the system, or to send you a budget quote for your approval.
Managing the various language versions of your documents is therefore significantly easier. ANTHE@TMS helps you save time and money, while ensuring consistency of your corporate contents in all languages.

Contract positions available: L10n project managers
1 juli 2005We are currently looking for Localization Project Managers. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience managing software product localization projects. They will report to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for the following tasks:
·Process project requests from customers: Prepare a quote when requested and/or prepare and maintain the project budgets as project scopes evolve or become final;
·Prepare and maintain project schedules;
·Identify resources/setup production teams in cooperation with the Vendor Manager;
·Schedule production and QA tasks;
·Provide organizational and financial tracking of projects;
·Provide customer communication and reporting
·Take care of deliveries;
·Work in accordance with the company's ISO 9001-certified Operational Procedures and Technical Instructions.
·Any other necessary tasks related to this function.
Profile: Degree in translation / Localization. Fluent in French, English and Dutch (preferably mother tongue). Working knowledge of German is an asset.
Proven adaptability and attention to detail. Proactive approach. Team worker with excellent customer focus. Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.

10 november 2004During the TEKOM/ TC Europe Conference and Trade show, dedicated to content management and technical communication, Yves Vanneste, CEO of ANTHEA Languages, in association with Jacques Levy, localization services manager, IBM France, made a presentation of the "Eternal Egypt" project conducted by IBM for the Egyptian government. The content localization into French was performed by one of ANTHEA's language teams.

ANTHEA - DALYSCO: An integrated solution for multilingual e-content publishing
9 februari 2004On its first visit to Documation. ANTHEA Languages made a two-side move: it announced its partnership with DALYSCO, and launched an integrated offer for the adaptation of multilingual material on the Web. This offer gives solutions for creating intuitive websites (« MJContent »), associated with a translation and content maintenance service in more than thirty languages.
DALYSCO (www.dalysco.com) develops the MJContent software, a system for managing Web material which allows companies to optimize the performance of their Websites or Internet, and assists with the daily management of Sites without any web programming expertise.
